Shell
Annud Concept, Spain.
An enduring design exercise with an iconic and memorable geometry
Shell represents a direct dialogue between its curved backrest and its structure, between the solid and the malleable, between wood and metal. The structure has been developed in a thickness larger than usual in order to give character to this product, without being invasive. Thanks to its hidden fittings, the plywood shell seems to be simply coupled to the structure, creating a clean and easy to understand the whole.
Shell has a tubular steel structure with a diameter larger than usual, which gives the piece a unique character. The plywood shell, which is directly attached to the structure, comes in various finishes, making the collection highly versatile.
From lacquered MDF to oak-finish plywood, highlighting the warmth of the wood, and upholstery, which always adds a touch of comfort to any piece.
